A la Paillotte Chambre d'hôtes

We only stayed one night, but I hope we can come back. The hosts were great, and the local wine deserves a mention. We paid extra for dinner, which was delicious and plenty for two hungry adults and our kids, aged 8 and 12. The room didn’t have central heating. There was an air conditioning unit on the wall that made some noise during the night. We switched it off, but then the room got too cold. The beds were cosy, though. The floor was cold in December, so I’d bring slippers. I’d recommend staying here if you’re travelling in the area. Thanks for having us, and hope to see you again.

After a relaxing spell in the hot tub and sauna, we had a really well-cooked dinner. The lovely host couple were thoughtful and kind, and did everything they could to make our stay a fantastic experience. Thank you!

The rooms were spacious and very clean, and we were warmly welcomed. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious and plentiful. Stephane's generosity also gave us the chance to visit the local Pinaud producer the next morning. Stephane and Marjorie are determined to make their venture a success, and we wish them well. The local Pinaud was excellent, and we recommend visiting A la Paillotte in this beautiful part of France.

We had a very pleasant stay. The host was so welcoming and friendly, and the rooms were superb and spacious. The dining room was spotless, and breakfast was superb. A relaxing place in a splendid setting, close to the ocean and the islands.
