We used this peaceful, beautiful spot as a base for exploring nearby, including Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, Rocamadour, hikes and kayaking. The bakery and restaurants are only a few minutes’ walk away. Our gite was very comfortable and had all we needed for three lovely nights in this part of the south of France. Marie-Claire was a great host and shared lots of recommendations. Highly recommend.

The views were breathtaking, especially through the skylight when we were lying in bed. We slept better here than anywhere else in France during our six days on the trip. Marie’s place was peaceful, spotless, and decorated beautifully with artistic touches. We wish we could have stayed longer. It was a highlight of our trip, and we hope to visit again.

There’s free parking near the house, and if it’s full, you can park on another street and unload your bags right in front. The owner gave us a warm welcome and was always ready with tips or help. The accommodation was very clean and well equipped, with everything we needed for a few days. The garden sits beside the rocks, and the location worked perfectly as a base for Pech Merle and Saint-Cirq-Lapopie.

MarieClaire and Damien were kind, welcoming, and ready to help with anything. We really enjoyed this guest house and its owners. The apartment was neat, cosy, and fully equipped, so it felt like home. We also loved having access to the terrace, with its splendid view over Cabrerets.
