The hotel and rooms are great, but I’m talking about the restaurant here. The food, wine, and service were all fantastic. Definitely worth a stop if you’re nearby. Get there before it gets a Michelin star and becomes hard to book!

We walked in wide-eyed, with no French at all, and were welcomed so warmly. Our meal ran a little later than expected, though we were having such a good time we barely noticed. The waitress brought us another drink on the house to make up for it, then wrote down several places to visit when we mentioned we were traveling. Make sure you stop in, it’s well worth it.

The chef and owners came by to ask how everything had gone, and they really looked after us. The food strikes a great balance between modern and classic. It’s a cozy, comfortable place with stylish, classic touches, and the menu is concise but varied. The service was hard to fault. This deserves a Michelin mention.

We were a group of 12 and they fit us in on short notice. The menu was thoughtfully put together, the food well prepared, and the service excellent. A perfect meal, and we’ll definitely return on our next visit. Highly recommend it.

We were looked after well by the owner, though I’m not completely sure. Our room was spacious and attractive, with a good bathroom, shampoo and other toiletries, a hairdryer, mini fridge, and safe. Parking is a bit limited, but the little town is picturesque and charming, with nearby woods for walks. The hotel has a popular restaurant in an airy courtyard, though we found it expensive. We stayed one comfortable night after failing to get a room at the nearby guest house. That had been our first choice because it cost less and had a pool.
