Dinner was excellent, and the breakfast spread was huge. The owners were so helpful before we arrived and while we were there, and even kept our bikes in the garage overnight. The hotel is in a lovely spot. The rooms feel quaint and could do with an update, but they were comfortable and nice and quiet.

The hotel grounds are splendid, and the food was great. It’s affordable too, with St Lary and Loudenvielle close by. The customer service was amazing.

I loved my four days at the Val d'Aure. The hosts were attentive and always smiling, and the place welcomes both dogs and motorcyclists. The swimming pool is lovely on a hot day, and breakfast was more generous than any I’ve seen elsewhere. Dinner was excellent and sophisticated, made with fresh local produce. Set in a large park with magnificent trees, it’s a former monastery turned hotel and restaurant. There’s even a tulip tree, one of only two in the entire Hautes-Pyrénées. Thank you 🙏🙏🙏
