The host proudly told us this was the cheapest place in Thiers. That may explain the lack of equipment, but I can't recommend it. The apartment is old, though clean, and there's practically nothing in the kitchen. The sink light doesn't work, there's no oven, and the battered pots and pans don't encourage cooking. For a place that supposedly sleeps eight, we found only seven forks. There was no salad bowl, salad spinner, serving dish, toaster, or kettle. The glasses didn't match, and the plates looked like they had been thrown in as discards. In the bathroom, the sink light wasn't plugged in. The linens were clean but rough and wrinkled, which wasn't appealing either.
