Bastide Des Princes B&B

We’ll be back, including in winter so we can enjoy the spa. We loved old stone buildings, and this magnificent country house was just what we hoped for. The Bastide has been beautifully renovated while keeping its character, and it’s very well maintained. The unusual-shaped pool was peaceful and refreshing, with a lovely view over the Bastide. Nicolas and Marie Joëlle were kind, helpful, and attentive despite having other professional activities, though this isn’t a hotel. Claudie served a very good, generous breakfast and was exceptionally kind and attentive to what we needed. Thanks again for such an idyllic stay.

We found the place easily thanks to the clear signs, and there was shaded parking. The garden and magnificent pool made for an idyllic setting, while our room was spacious and authentic. Breakfast was generous, and the welcome was warm. We had a delightful stay at La Bastide. Thanks for a wonderful time!

We were warmly welcomed with our 16-month-old baby, and breakfast was very good. The room felt authentic, and the pool was lovely. A superb stay in a wonderful setting at La Bastide. We’d love to return to La Bastide des Princes. Jade, Elodie, and Mickaël

The nice parts were breakfast under the pergola and the shaded parking. That’s all we’ll remember positively. The pool was dirty, and although the cleaner was still in it, it wasn’t working. The shower was clogged, with red deposits coming up. The sauna was being used to store equipment that couldn’t be used, and the spa was empty and full of pine needles, so the “sauna and spa” advertising was misleading. We got a cold welcome and a cold goodbye. The owners stayed at their desks, occasionally looking up from their computers, and never asked how our night had gone or whether we were satisfied. A shame for a B&B. The experience and services don’t justify €170 per night. Huge disappointment!
