The only reasons I can give two stars are the clean bed sheets and the friendly staff. The room smelled of sweat when I walked in, the shower had almost no pressure, and there was a buzzing sound every couple of minutes, like a phone receiving a text. It kept me awake all night. For a room of this quality, the price was way too high.

Breakfast was awesome, and the restaurant was good. Nice room and great service too, especially from pierre.

We were traveling with 34 high school students and six staff, and this was the least impressive hotel of our tour. Students reported dirty rooms and lots of broken things. In my bathroom, urine had splashed onto the side of the sink and countertop. The hallway was dirty too, with spiders and carpets that looked either ancient or like they hadn't been vacuumed in years. Breakfast was skimpy, without a nice selection of cheeses. The man at the front desk seemed grumpy and was rude when some students returned their spoons with supper dishes and then needed new ones for dessert. He was also stand-offish at check-in. The place didn't feel friendly, and I wouldn't stay again.

The hotel team even put out a full breakfast buffet at 5.00am on our last morning so our coach group could leave early. We were impressed, and the regular breakfasts were a treat too, with lots of fresh, tasty choices. Three coffee machines meant no long queue, so we went back for several refills. Those croissants and coffee were a lovely start to the day. We also had dinner there on two nights, choosing all three courses and a bottle of wine each time. The dining room was cosy, our waitress was lovely, and both meals were superb value. The quality put the usual food at larger hotel chains back in the UK to shame. My mum and I stayed three nights from Tue 17 Oct as part of a Leger holiday coach tour. The manager and team were unfailingly polite, friendly, and helpful. Room #48 was compact but had all we needed, with very comfortable twin beds, a bright bathroom, and impressive cleanliness. The location is in a commercial area out of town, between car showrooms, so there's no striking view. That didn't bother us since we were out sightseeing by coach each day, and it was quiet at night. We both had a lovely stay and would happily return. To the manager, Mr Eric I believe, and everyone on the team, merci beaucoup. You should be proud of the service you provide.
