The ventilation in the room made such a horrible noise that I couldn’t sleep at all. There was also noise around the hotel, which is right next to the hospital. The parking was another hassle. It’s on hospital property, and staff explain how to get in and out, though you may be lucky enough to get the instructions in English. I wouldn’t want to use it every day because getting in and out is such a nuisance.

The room was very comfortable, with a large shower and a kitchenette that had enough equipment. The WiFi was good and the internet fast. There’s free undercover parking, though it isn’t quite secure since you can get in through the hospital foyer. If you can locate the place, it’s a little gem. It’s an unusual spot, right beside the main entrance to Caen hospital. Handy if you’re planning an accident, like people in uniform, or simply love hospital food! I would have liked a small travel kettle for making tea.

The room was clean and had a small kitchen, but it’s so tight that I could barely lay out my 28-inch suitcase. With two people sharing, it could feel even more cramped. Getting there is convenient, though: the hotel is near a bus stop, and LineA goes directly from the Gare de Caen.

This was the best place I’ve stayed in during 15 years of visiting France! Thanks so much for the great service and price. I’ll be back as soon as I can. I tried to clean the room before leaving, hope that was okay. I wish I could’ve stayed forever ^^
