The restaurant and bar were lovely, and the food was fantastic. For our final honeymoon meal, I had the set menu with wine pairing, while my husband chose a couple of dishes from the regular menu because of his dietary requirements. The staff were attentive and understanding, and we had a lovely evening. Our booking included a lovely spa session with a sauna, steam room, and pool with jets, bubbles, and a fountain. Look for the white buttons to turn them on, and press some a few times. The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was clean, and the bed was super comfy. Our room was very small, though, and that would have been a problem for a stay longer than two nights. Parking on site was useful, but spaces are limited and tight.

We had a wonderful meal at the restaurant, and they were very accommodating about my food allergy. All the staff were welcoming and excellent. A great one-night stay, and we’ll come back on our next visit to Caen.

Breakfast was €18 and had a good selection to start the day. The hotel is central and has nice, spacious, comfortable rooms. Parking costs €15, even for a motorbike, but with panniers it was worth paying for the convenience. Checkout was at midday. I’d definitely visit again.

The restaurant served very good food, and the breakfast buffet was lovely. Service was fantastic throughout. The clean, beautiful rooms had really comfortable beds, and the whole hotel was spotless, which matters most to me. It’s ideally located near Caen’s historic center and the sights. Staying here made for a beautiful experience in Caen, and I’d absolutely come back.

I went in September, and the turbot, lobster, and lamb were all fantastic. The food was the highlight. I’d have liked a bit more explanation about the cheeses, but the service and atmosphere were otherwise well put together. I’d recommend it.
