The bungalow was great, though there’s no air conditioning. Ours sat under the trees, so even in May we didn’t suffer much from the heat. The campsite is two stars, so there’s no pool or big entertainment, as we already knew. The beach and shops are both about a five-minute walk away.

The resort was clean and regularly looked after, and the manager was pleasant and available when we had questions. Our mobile home had what we needed to cook, plus a good-sized fridge-freezer. There’s also a laundry and dryer for an extra fee. It was rainy while we were there, and without insulation the mobile home felt chilly and damp, but the radiator kept us comfortable and dried our clothes. I understand the homes are due to be insulated. There weren’t many guests around, and everyone was respectful apart from some careless dog owners. The sandy beach and Super U are both an eight-minute walk away. The weather shifted between rain and lovely sunshine, without getting too hot. Thanks again!

We had our 6 m camper there in mid-October, and a longer one might have been tricky to manoeuvre. The bathrooms looked vintage but were clean, and the staff were kind and welcoming. Best part of the campsite: hot water for showers 😍. There were plenty of mosquitoes, so if you like them, this is the place 😬.
