The place itself is lovely, and all the other staff were great. But the chef badly let it down by losing his temper at some customers and behaving so unprofessionally. I felt sorry for the receptionist, who was on the receiving end of his anger. There was a language barrier between the furious chef and the customers, and she was visibly upset and unable to do anything. Whatever his beef was, he shouldn't have acted like that. He needs anger management training, or to be sacked.

The good parts were the clean, air-conditioned rooms and the fairly new bathroom, though it was dark. Breakfast was good quality, with local ham, cheese and other products. The hotel is a five-minute walk from the beach and about 15 minutes from the old town. The room was tiny, mouldy and muggy, and the twin beds were very narrow, maybe 75-80 cm each. The shower rail for the curtain was broken. I reported it, but it was never fixed, so the bathroom flooded after every shower. There was no extractor fan, no bedside cabinets, hardly any sockets, and no soundproofing. You could hear the neighbours sneeze. The staff spoke French, with hardly any English or other languages, despite presenting themselves as multilingual. Most seemed disinterested and had a poor attitude, although the woman at the desk when we arrived was lovely. It might be okay for a very short stay, but I wouldn't check in again.

Breakfast was delicious and well stocked, and the dining room was a comfortable, pleasant place to eat. The staff were friendly and happy to help. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with a spotless bathroom and a large shower. The lobby was beautiful too. The pillows were much too flat, but the mattress was very comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again.

It's a short walk to the center, and the staff are very friendly. We had a large, handy garage for the motorcycles. The room was very clean, but it wasn't soundproof.
