La Boucle de L'adour Chambres D'hôtes

One of the best rooms I’ve ever stayed in.

Nice hotel, and the service was good.

Céline and her son were such good company, and we had a chance to chat about all sorts of things. We stayed one night at the La Boucle de l'Adour bed and breakfast, and the whole short visit went very well. The house has lots of charm, and our room was spacious, clean, and practical. We also had dinner there, and the meal Céline cooked was very good. We’d happily come back.

The hosts were quick to respond to our many requests. Since there was no private kitchen for us to use, we had to ask them for help throughout the stay. We also spent a lot of time playing with their 10-year-old son, Dorian. He’s naturally curious and kind, though his constant presence became a bit much. The setting outside the gîte was peaceful and pleasant, right in the mountains, about 20 minutes from La Mongie. Inside, the layout was good and the rooms were large, functional, and spotless. Cleanliness was impeccable. The promised “lounge by the fireplace” didn’t quite live up to the inviting description. New Year’s Eve dinner was very good, though we all felt it was a little pricey. The simple breakfast was perfectly adequate.
