Château de Laborde Saint-Martin

Valérie e Nikola gave us a warm welcome and were always happy to offer helpful advice and recommendations. We stayed three days in a room with a separate bedroom and living area. Everything was exceptionally clean, including the bathroom and shower. Breakfast was delicious and clearly made with care. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend the place to anyone visiting the region.

Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and local, and the lovely breakfast room made for a great start to the day. Valerie was kind and gave us recommendations for the area. The room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable. My fiance proposed on the grounds during our stay, which made it the perfect place for us. We loved every minute and would recommend it to anyone. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in the area.

Staying overnight in a castle after touring castles by day was magical. This was a perfect base for a long weekend in the heart of the best chatteaus in the Loire Valley. Valerie and Nicola were warm and kind. You can tell that owning and restoring this chatteau is a real passion for them. Our room was sunny and beautifully decorated, with high ceilings, elegant decor, and a terrific shower. Breakfast was perfect. We recommend it with flying colors!

We felt right at home during our lovely five-day stay at the Chateau. The hosts went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, and the room was tidy and nice. Being able to borrow a portacot, high chair, and change mat made things much easier. Breakfast was delicious every morning. We enjoyed walking around the Chateau’s grounds, putting our feet up in the grass, and feeding the chicks and goats. The Chateau is a short drive from the main town where we went for dinner. Our hosts also gave us great suggestions for places to eat, have drinks, and buy local wines. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely return. Merci Mr&Mrs Lepissier!!
