For a relaxing stop, there are lots of cafés and restaurants in this luxurious place. You can take in the old port, where plenty of expensive yachts are parked, or head to the famous Palace of festivals, where the Cannes Film Festival takes place every year. Around town there are fountains, a nice City Hall building, and, of course, a McDonald's in the Cannes centre ville. A bus station near City Hall can take you in any direction around Cannes. There’s an old church next to the Palace of festivals, and you’ll probably visit the main market, "Forville," for local fruit, vegetables, or fish. Meynadier street also has rows of shopkeepers.

The harbor and seafront boulevards are lovely to stroll along, and there are plenty of pleasant outdoor cafés and restaurants. The old city has climbs at different levels, with beautiful panoramic views over the city.
