My family room felt more like a suite, with a double and single bed, lots of space, and a walk-in closet without a door. The toilet and bathroom were separate, and the air conditioning worked incredibly well compared with most I've used in Europe, which was handy during orange to red heat alerts. There's a small elevator if you don't want to take the stairs. The front desk staff were friendly and patient with my limited French. I also loved the excellent buffet breakfast, which I had every morning. Lots of good ethnic restaurants are nearby, including a good Moroccan place. It's a 30-minute walk to the medieval city, which helped me get my steps in. The hotel is very convenient for the train station, restaurants, and Musée des Beaux-Arts de Carcassonne, which I highly recommend visiting. It's free.

We had a pleasant stay at this clean, pleasant hotel in the centre of Carcassonne. It's just a short walk from the train station, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There's a buffet breakfast too, which was good and much like what you find at many other hotels.

Handy for the train station, restaurants, and the airport bus, with friendly staff and a fridge and WiFi. It was extremely hot in southern France in June, so the air conditioning was very welcome. A nice hotel for travelling alone.

We booked a balcony room and were surprised by how large our private balcony was. It was a lovely spot for breakfast and dinner. The room was spacious and clean as well. The hotel was practical for getting around, just a five-minute walk from the train station and 20 minutes from the castle and city of Carcassonne. We loved our stay, thank you very much!

It's set on a quiet street one road back from the main thoroughfares, but very easy to reach. The hotel couldn't be more convenient for the station, town, and bus routes.
