Le Relais de la Maison Bacou

We really can't recommend this place. The stairs are extremely steep and uneven, making it very hard to bring up luggage, and there's another difficult staircase to the upstairs bathroom, with creaky steps. There are loose tiles throughout the house, and with no air conditioning and poor ventilation, the experience was very bad.

We were taken with this charming duplex. The living space is pleasant, the decor lovely, and the place was clean and quiet, with good heating and excellent internet. It was well located, with skylights, Velux windows, and a living wall. The apartment has everything you need to feel at home, including an iron and ironing board, a hairdryer, quality shower gel and shampoo, plus coffee and tea. Getting in was easy with the key box, so we could arrive whenever we liked. The value for money is unbeatable, and I highly recommend it. One thing to know is that the stairs are narrow and a little steep, though you're right in the heart of the city with all its advantages. I'd happily come back with friends for a holiday, and I'm curious to discover the other property, Maison Bacou, and its many amenities. You can find out about the venues on the website. We had an unpleasant stay. The stairs were extremely narrow, steep, and difficult to access. The Wi-Fi didn't work, and with temperatures close to 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit), the lack of air conditioning was the worst part. We raised it with the owner, but he didn't offer a solution. I don't recommend this place, you'll regret it.

We paid €120 for two weekend nights in December, and the heating was OK. I'd come back, though I think the host should be there at check-in and the apartment needs a table and chairs in the dining area.
