We were five women in the family and felt safe in the clean, comfortable apartment. It’s furnished for self-catering, with a washing machine and a terrace among the useful extras. The place looks a little worn, but we’d gladly come back. On rue Trivalle in the old city, it has a view toward the nearby castle, with shops, bakeries, and restaurants all around. Parking was easy, and the host was attentive and helpful. Les Clés de la Cité is a good-value base for seeing Carcassonne.

The rooms were large, modern, and air-conditioned, and we found the apartment quite nice despite a few small flaws that didn’t cause any trouble. It’s very close to the historic center. One hallway did have a slightly damp smell.

A little worn, but clean and comfortable, and I’d stay again. The price was reasonable and the location was great for a self-catering place.

It’s fascinating to see this elaborate old structure still in such good shape and still being used, with shops, restaurants, and people living inside. Fantastic place.

Flat 61.4 was in a fabulous location. The owners were friendly, and the place was clean and practical.
