The pool was just what we needed after long days of exploring, with lots of shade and loungers. Breakfast was fantastic too. Carole's place is tucked into peaceful countryside, yet only a few minutes from more restaurants than you'll need. It sits at the foot of the old city, with easy access to both the old city and the even older city and their attractions. We stayed for two nights and have nothing but praise for Carole and her lovely accommodation. Highly recommended.

Carole is so welcoming and helpful, and seems to answer every request with “of course.” Her varied breakfast is generous, and she has a lovely open spirit. The pool is nice, and her place gives easy access to both the old and new cities. There’s free, secure parking behind coded gates, which was a relief after some awful car experiences on this holiday. We could park our rental without worrying about damaging it, which felt unusual in France and Spain. Local parking cost 8 euros for 4 hours. In a 15th-century village, check carefully whether accommodation parking is for a bike before bringing a car.

The location is ideal, and there’s private parking. We also liked the pool and its chairs. The rooms were good, breakfast was nice, and the owner made us feel very welcome. A lovely B&B.

A peaceful spot with free parking, and Carcassonne is within walking distance. The Wi-Fi worked well, too. Nature and bird lovers will especially appreciate the setting. Breakfast was delicious, and the host was amazing.
