Absolutely dreadful. The waitress or receptionist was very loud, unproductive, rude, and disrespectful. She tried to pressure us into eating their food, but the grease and leftovers from previous use on the cutlery and plates made me want to run away. For two nights, four pints, two Grimbergen and then two 1664 lagers sold as Grimbergen, I was charged over 343 euros in total. The prices in the hall don't match the ones on the blackboard. I had to leave for a job-related emergency, but called reception in time to explain and make sure the hotel had time not to lose a booking. I also asked them to send me the bill for payment for two nights with breakfast and the two Grimbergen and two 1664 sold as Grimbergen. Being British, I know my beers. 🍺 Even though I was as professional and communicative as possible, and also emailed the managers, I heard nothing. On Tuesday morning I finally got hold of the manager and naively thought it would be fine, we'd get the prices right, and all would be well. The total opposite happened. After settling on the usual price of 179 euros for two nights, the receptionist, who seems to have chosen the wrong career path, ended up lying to my boss, her manager, and me. She charged my company and me 310 euros on Tuesday, then made another unexplained payment of 33.70 with no bill or justification, going against the deal the hotel manager had promised my company and me. I still don't have any detailed bill or refund information, although it has been dealt with. I must say this is an illegal practice. This place used to be well managed. I hope the current manager hasn't fallen into depression, but I will never set foot there again. dynamo and family
