The room was old and the bathroom felt like one from a hostel. There wasn't room to open a suitcase properly, so we had to put it on the floor, and there was no fridge. A strong, unpleasant smell came from the hallway, and the room carpet was very dirty. The online photos were misleading, taken from flattering angles and with filters, and the actual room looked nothing like them. We booked two nights but could only stay one. The hotel is quite far from the city center, and unfortunately the stay didn't meet our expectations at all. Based on our experience, we wouldn't recommend it.

The hotel was amazing, from the service and food to the rooms and staff. It's a little far out, though transport is being improved. There is a swimming pool, but apparently the owner is changing its location. I'm not sure why, and it seems like a mistake to me. If the new setup is done well aesthetically, it could be great, since the old pool surroundings and setting are amazing.

For short trips, Hôtel Promotel is a decent, affordable option among the nicer hotels in the area. Check-in was straightforward, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. My room was simple but surprisingly spacious, with a nice balcony, air conditioning, and a toilet separate from the bathroom. There's no fridge, but that wasn't a major issue. The pool is a decent size and the bar is pleasant. The restaurant is on the pricey side, though the experience was good. Getting to and from Nice requires transport, since it's around 20 minutes to the city center and 14 minutes to the airport. We were a group of five and found it a really nice place to stay.
