The pool was a real treat in the heat, and there’s lots to do nearby despite how peaceful the area feels. We came back to Domaine Bessiere last summer after loving our first visit, and it lived up to it. Jos and Karen have been running the place for two years, and the many little and bigger improvements are easy to notice. They’re so welcoming that we felt at home straight away again. We enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it.

The setting is lovely, but for the price the place felt under-equipped: no toaster, very few kitchen utensils, a dirty BBQ, and an extra charge for using the washing machine. It also doesn’t feel safe for very young children. The trampoline isn’t secured, the swing and slide are practically unusable, and there are several hazards, including a terrace with no railing, dangerous stairs, and a pool with no shallow end. It’s a beautiful site, but only average value for money and definitely not suited to families with little kids. Also, mandatory cleaning isn’t included in the departure bill.

A peaceful spot in the NA3, with a friendly, accommodating welcome. It has the comforts you need for a country break. I recommend it if you’re after a quiet getaway.

The hospitality is incredible, and it all comes together with a cozy feel and a real paradise for children. A perfect holiday spot if you’re looking for peace and comfort.
