On an unannounced visit to the gîte we were meant to use at the end of May, I found it was also the owner's main residence, among other things. The grounds weren't suitable for people with reduced mobility, either. In my view, the rental agency should review how many keys it awards. A month before our stay, we had to cancel because a friend was hospitalized, but the owner REFUSES to return our €50 deposit. What a shame!

The local produce was delicious, and Annie, Raymond, and his sister made us feel welcome at their charming little farmhouse on the hillside. They’re absolutely delightful. If you need a new toaster, don’t hesitate to ask.

I'll be back. The setting is very pretty, and we got a really warm welcome. It's also conveniently placed at a crossroads in the Gers, close to well-known events like jazz, brass bands, festivals, and country music.

The magnificent linden tree in front of the house adds to the lovely atmosphere. We had a pleasant stay, and Annie and Jean-Louis are genuine and helpful. We’ll be back.
