A very quiet spot near the main highways, handy for a break on a trip. The owners even kindly let us lock our motorcycles behind the secure fence. They’re true romantics, with lovely baroque bric-a-brac in every room and corner. Breakfast was enormous, with plenty of fresh homemade jams and fruit. The lady of the house spoke only French, but really tried to understand and meet our wishes. The one small drawback was the typically small French bed. I recommend this B&B to travelers who want to experience it.

Le Clos du Verger sits in a peaceful spot and has a lovely room. Breakfast is generous and delicious, with lots of homemade things from their own garden, and the hostess is very friendly. This part of France is often overlooked, which is a shame. If you’re visiting the area, I highly recommend staying here.
