The rooms are large and clean, though the carpet is marked. There’s a separate toilet and a good-sized shower enclosure.

Cool pool, and the Caesar salad was epic.

We were there for three nights, and the staff were very welcoming. The kitchenette was in a separate space from the bedroom, with a bathroom that had a bathtub and a separate toilet. There was a musty smell, though, and not enough ventilation. The window sills had mold on them.

For €60 for three people, I can’t be too demanding, and it’ll do for an overnight stop if you don’t spend much time in the room. Still, 3.9/5 seems far too high to me. The residence is aging and very damp. Our first room, on the ground floor, was 156, and honestly it wasn’t habitable because of a strong stale tobacco and damp or mold smell. After we complained, they easily moved us upstairs to a room that smelled much cleaner. The damp was still obvious, though. Just look under the sinks, where everything was moldy, and the cleaning could have been much better. It’s in a relatively quiet commercial area, opposite an Ibis hotel. They share reception, restaurant, and pool. The restaurant is closed on weekend evenings in the off-season. The pool was supposed to be open until the end of September, but was closed. That’s understandable, but it should have been clearly stated.
