The staff were the best part of the stay. They were incredibly nice and did everything they could to make it a great visit. The room was high quality, and having the Spa included was the icing on the cake. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of delicious food. I’d just cycled over the Pyrenees from Pamplona, and this was a perfect place to stop along my route. I can’t recommend it enough.

We chose this delightful rustic place for an overnight stop on the way to the ferry in Bilbao, mainly because our little boy could use the indoor pool. The restaurant was great, and breakfast came with fantastic homemade pastries and bread. We enjoyed the pool and spa too. The woman running it seems to be the owner and the third generation of her family to do so.

MeNDI ALDE was a happy surprise, full of little touches that went beyond what I expected, thanks in large part to Isabelle going the extra mile. She picked me up at the train station soon after I arrived, let me use the shared lounge earlier than the stated time since I get up early, and showed me where to clean my shoes, even handing me a brush. The place is quaint, rustic and spacious. My renovated room was beautifully equipped, with mood lighting and a modern, practical bathroom. Isabelle also serves an excellent breakfast with a good choice of food, breads and condiments. I spent my free time by the fireplace in the lounge and loved the relaxed atmosphere. After a hike with Lucie, the spa, sauna and steam room were just right for unwinding. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend MeNDI ALDE to my friends. Sen Ekanayake MBA AUSTRALIA

We had dinner, breakfast and a room, and the quality was amazing for the price. This was an incredible find, especially if you love food. It would make an incredible wedding venue too. Highly recommend.
