Domaine Abartiague B&B

We had a generous breakfast, a lovely room and a wonderfully quiet spot to relax by the pool. The house has been renovated beautifully, and it sits in a little pocket of green in the Basque Country. Nathalie and Fabrice were genuinely warm, kind and attentive. Bravo! Nathalie :) and Philippe

The delicious breakfast and the warmth of Nathalie and Fabrice made our stay especially lovely. Their home is tucked into lush greenery and feels like another world, though it’s close enough to make our different outings easy. It was tempting to stay put and enjoy the calm and comfort the whole time. We’d gladly come again with our children.

The bed was really comfortable, and the pool has a superb view. There’s plenty to do nearby before coming back for a swim. I found the whole trip peaceful and relaxing. I usually skip breakfast, but the quality and range of what was served made me hungry anyway. Thanks to Nathalie and Fabrice for being so welcoming and kind.

Breakfast was so varied and generous, with homemade jams, different breads, homemade yogurts and plenty more, that the lady of the house may need to remind you about your diet! We slept very comfortably, and the carefully renovated property is in a calm, restful setting. Fabrice, Nathalie and their two sons are charming and kind, and the hosts are always available with great tips for seeing the area. You don’t have to go far to find beautiful places around here. If you’re not into sharing, discovering and tasting, this may not be your spot. We tried to come up with one downside and couldn’t. We arrived on the 9th to smiles and a very warm welcome.
