The generous breakfasts were a highlight, especially the homemade jams and local cheeses. The national-brand yogurts were less appealing. We also enjoyed the pool, though its upkeep seemed irregular and there weren't enough sun loungers in good condition. Luckily, there were few guests, and a nearby tree and the parasols gave us some shade. The stay fell short of what we expected. Our room was under the eaves and got very, very hot. The window was small for airing it out at night, though a fan was provided. Getting to the rooms meant climbing a very narrow spiral staircase with 34 steps. Cars were parked on the street, despite the description mentioning a parking lot, and traffic from the nearby main road was noticeable. These are meant as constructive comments, since the property has real potential. Best of luck.

The large cottage is very comfortable and spotless, and we found the pool clean too, despite some reviews we'd read. The owners are fantastic and always available. They also give us good tips for walks nearby, local markets, and village festivals at this time of year. Don't hesitate to book, you won't be disappointed.

Everything was absolutely perfect!!! Véronique and David made us feel so welcome and looked after us wonderfully. Breakfast was lovely, with fresh local products, and I especially enjoyed the homemade jams. What more can I say?

Such a peaceful setting, and the property itself is incredible. Our hosts welcomed us warmly and served an excellent lunch. The only small downside was that the rooms have no air conditioning, which can make them very hot in summer.
