Good service, and the food was okay for the price.

My mother-in-law stayed here for three weeks last year and is in no hurry to come back. The food was bland, her room was outdated, and the staff were unpleasant. At least the spa is directly across the street, so getting there is convenient. I’m surprised by the positive reviews. I’ve also noticed that negative reviews get plenty of replies, while good ones don’t even get a thank you. Comparing a 3-star hotel to a Relais & Châteaux seems exaggerated. The attitude gives the impression that criticism can’t be taken. My own reviews aren’t all negative, so have a proper look before replying.

The thermal baths are right across the street, so you can’t get much closer. This family-run hotel does everything it can to make your spa treatment pleasant, with peaceful, relaxing and spacious rooms.

The staff are friendly, and the hotel is clean, but everything feels old and it needs updating. The carpeting on the walls and floors doesn’t seem very old. The food was disappointing, with no choice or flavor and no options available. The owner gets overwhelmed quickly and makes sure you know it. I have serious doubts about the 3-star rating.
