Sessius 1622

Dinner and breakfast had the feel of a private meal with a personal chef, intimate, delicious, and full of warmth. Sessius 1622 is also easy to reach despite its quiet setting, with a bus stop a minute away and Geneva center 30 minutes away. The restored rooms honor the building’s history, and the artistic details throughout make the place feel personal and full of care. Vittorio and Roman welcomed us so warmly that, even during our two-night stay, we felt as though we’d known the lovely owners for years. It was a memorable, one-of-a-kind stay, and I hope to come back soon. Thanks, Vittorio and Roman!

The lunch was a highlight of our wedding reception, prepared by Chef Francesca Fucci, who collaborates with Sessius. It was seasonal and elegant, with lovely inspiration from both our backgrounds, and felt personal, creative, and deeply delicious. Vittorio and Romain were so warm and attentive to every detail that we felt completely welcome. We were lucky to celebrate such a special day at Sessius 1622. The manor and its rooms are beautiful, and ours was especially charming and thoughtfully prepared. Artworks, furniture, lighting, statues, and decor collected from around the world over the years make every corner feel like an art experience, rich with history and soul. Thank you for everything. The art around the property is stunning, and the food we were served was delicious, thoughtfully made, and sourced from across Europe. My partner and I spent one night at Session 1622 and had a truly lovely time. It’s been beautifully renovated, with modern amenities and exceptionally comfortable beds. We also enjoyed meeting the charming, welcoming gay couple who run the place. We’ll absolutely be back!

Those tables d'hôtes with a star chef, held every few weeks, are amazing. The food was delicious and unusual, and the great value made the short trip from Geneva well worth it. We’ll be regulars at dinner.
