We’ve put off renovating the rooms because we don’t have the funding yet, and we don’t deny that the furniture is dated. In the meantime, we’ve invested in less visible work too, including kitchen renovations and bringing everything up to safety standards, as well as reversible air conditioning in every room and a new terrace. These projects cost money. But I can’t accept the claim that our food is industrially prepared. It disrespects the work and commitment of our staff. Guests expect homemade food, and that’s our policy: everything on the menu is prepared in our kitchens.
