We found this campsite wonderfully quiet, with spotless grounds, modern clean washrooms, and great pools for cooling down. It sits on scenic hills at the edge of a small town, with peaceful views stretching toward the Mediterranean. It also makes a handy base for the Parc Nationale des Calanques and nearby coastal towns. A lovely choice for a restful break surrounded by nature.

The tent pitches are generous in size, mostly shaded, and each has electricity and a sink with cold water. Staff were welcoming and helpful, and the site was kept in great shape, with pitches cleaned between guests. There’s a bit of a trek to the sea, but it stays peaceful up here and the pools look out toward the water. It worked well for trips to Cassis, La Ciotat, and Marseille. The facilities for campers are thoughtful: you can rent a shelf in a fridge, and there are washing machines, dryers, hot water for dishes and hand washing, plus clean sanitary blocks that are scrubbed twice daily and always have toilet paper. One washroom building requires bare feet, even no flip-flops, while the other doesn’t.

We’d happily come back. The staff were really helpful, especially Carolyn, and there’s a lovely cycle track nearby. Our pitch had a great outlook across the forest toward the sea, and both the facilities and pools were very clean. Just be ready for a steep climb back from town or the closest beach.

The pool area was lovely, and the lodge and campsite were spotless throughout. Reception were welcoming and helpful too.

Getting back from the bus stop is the main drawback. It’s a steep 15-minute walk uphill, which can feel tiring after a beach day, especially with children. There’s a regional minibus up the hill around 17:00 and 18:00, but the receptionist didn’t know about it when we mentioned it and seemed unfriendly. Other staff were pleasant when we asked for help. It would be useful if management gave campers, especially people with vans or motorhomes hoping to use public transport, clearer information. The site itself was peaceful and we slept well in our tent, which surprised us for a four-star campsite. The mobile homes and tents seemed evenly spread out, so it didn’t feel overrun with teenagers or children. Every pitch has a water source, and the pools were a good size and refreshing, with fun slides for kids. There’s also a playground, a bouncy castle, table tennis, a fitness area, and varied activities that finish at a reasonable hour. Staff often cleaned the toilets, and the whole place was very clean. The restaurant could do better with its pizzas, though. We had a pleasant stay and would recommend the campsite.
