Camping Le Ragis

A lovely family-run place, and everyone was so friendly.

We had a good week in a mobile home. The staff were friendly, and there was enjoyable entertainment. The campsite is in a nice rural setting, and the pool hours worked really well for us. The one frustrating thing was how often people left towels on the loungers all day while they were away for meals or afternoon snacks. It meant others couldn't use them. They should take the towels away and put them in a bin.

Almost €500 for a long weekend, and this place was a disaster. The barbecue was so rusty we couldn't use it, and the pots and pans had handles so loose they were practically unusable. The bedding was yellowed, too. The pool was horrible, closed and empty. In the indoor pool there was no footbath, so people walked in with outdoor dirt on their shoes while our children and I were barefoot. With the footbath empty, the children's pool seemed to be serving as one instead. The inflatable play equipment stopped working while children were using it, and there were nails and screws on the ground in the play area. People were taking apart cars right under our windows. In some parts of the campsite, people were wearing surgical masks, which felt really unsettling. It was about 90% occupied by foreign workers, and didn't feel like a peaceful family holiday spot at all. This is not the four-star campsite it claims to be. It felt like a scam, and I hope this review saves someone else's holiday.
