Appart'City Classic Chalon-Sur-Saone

The receptionist was lovely and gave us useful information straight away. We booked two apartments for one night, five adults and four children, just as a place to sleep on our way to the mountains. The bed linen, bathrooms and toilets were all very clean. Nice hotel, I'd recommend it.

Parking fills up fast, though we found free parking on the road outside when we arrived. The apartment itself was quiet, clean and comfortable, with a good bed. It's close to the station, shops and town centre. We were missing a bottle opener, but there was a cheap one for sale at the little shop across the street.

We booked a quiet room and ended up in a noisy one. The Arabic bar across the street played loud music outside until 3 a.m., and even with the windows shut we couldn't sleep. There was no air conditioning either.

The location was great, but I didn't like the bed, and the bathrooms weren't practical. The bedroom had no air and the floors were dusty. There's no lift, and the stairs were dirty.
