We wished we had more time here. The beds were comfortable, the showers were nice and new, and the owners were very helpful. It’s a great B and B in Chalus, and an easy stop between Limoges and Bordeaux. The old buildings have lots of history. There are restaurants nearby, or you can bring your own food and eat in the lively old barn across the garden from the house.
We only managed one night at Firon's, but I'd recommend staying at least that long. The garden is lovely and the room was nice, in a peaceful spot. Above all, the owners were amazingly friendly. A great B&B choice in or near Chalus.
I've stayed here plenty of times. The accommodation is nice, the price is reasonable, and the hosts are lovely.
The food and wine were exactly what you could hope for. It was absolutely superb, and I could hardly find anything to fault.
Really good value, with tasty food and friendly hosts. A great place, definitely recommended.
