We missed our flight and were going to arrive late, but couldn’t reach anyone at the property for hours. When someone finally responded, they had no suggestions for how we could get the key, so they cancelled the booking. Before that, they’d asked us to email passport copies to an address that didn’t look connected to their business or the booking site we used. Even Airbnb apartments have key-coded lockboxes. We won’t stay here again.

The bed was like a cloud, and the large bathtub was great. I also loved the bay window, which gave the room a soft, gentle light. It’s a small place, but it’s been arranged perfectly and feels cozy. A little fridge tucked under the sink was a brilliant surprise. The old building has wooden doors, a castle-like staircase, and a small gallery leading to this lovely nest. Old-world charm, and nothing to complain about. A dream!

Such a shame, because the location is fantastic. The Airbnb experience was really disappointing, and the place felt neglected.
