Le Relais de Voissières

We were greeted warmly by the campsite owner, and the prices were very reasonable. The bathrooms, showers, and washing-up sinks were clean, and the facilities were nice. It’s a lovely little campsite at the foot of the Chaudfour valley, with easy access to what the area has to offer: great walks, cycling, lac Chambón, and lovely nature views.

The river runs alongside the campsite, so be ready for the sound, especially if you’re in a tent. We stayed five nights in a caravan and had a wonderful, restful time, with nature attractions like Puy de Dôme, Puy de Sancy, and La Grande Cascade nearby. Pick your pitch carefully because not all of them are flat. The owner speaks a little English, and you can order bread for the next day. Everything we needed was here, and the showers were warm and very clean. The kind lady who welcomed us was so friendly, and the whole site was spotless at every time of day. It’s quiet and private, right in nature, with no pool or other entertainment, which suited us perfectly. We loved this beautiful place!

The campsite was beautiful, and the people were friendly. The facilities were spotless. I’ve never stayed at a campsite that was kept this clean and well maintained. Absolutely fantastic.

A lovely spot in a beautiful area, with nice pitches close to nature. It’s quiet and great for walking. The older lady who owns the campsite was very friendly.
