Sancy Resort

We loved the beautiful hotel and its setting, but by morning we just wanted to leave. We stayed right after getting engaged, and had booked specifically for the spa, paying twice the Booking.com price because it was the weekend. The spa wasn't available as expected and cost an extra 60 euros for four people. There was also a cleaning fee of 30-60 euros, which wasn't included. We chose a hotel rather than an Airbnb and ended up having to clean ourselves. We were told breakfast was included, then charged another 48 euros for it. The receptionist was nice and spoke some English, but gave us the wrong information about breakfast. At breakfast, a staff member was extremely rude. She'd spoken to us in perfect English, then, when she saw we were confused about the extra charge, said, “I don't speak English.” That was a lie. Since we told the staff we'd just got engaged, we'd expected better service, but nobody offered anything to make up for their own miscommunication, misunderstanding, or plain rudeness. The hotel's slogan ought to be, “We'll ruin your mood, and you'll pay for it.” We couldn't wait to get out, and the staff completely ruined our trip. I definitely wouldn't recommend it. There are plenty of spa hotels around with much better service and a proper spa available.
