For an overnight stop, the room does the job, and it really is undeniably cheap. The showers are very good, and the self-cleaning toilets don’t often smell bad, though both are shared. The room was clean, but breakfast was entirely inadequate and not worth even its small price. For what three breakfasts cost, including coffee and baguette but no croissant, brioche to toast, apple compote, or cereal, we got a good breakfast for all three of us at the next service station. I did get a good cup of tea here, but had to use the microwave to heat the water enough. We know Formule 1 is only a stopover, somewhere to break the journey, so I’d stay the night but skip breakfast.

I stayed on 20 Feb 2015. The car park was quite full, but I still found a space. Inside, it was clean and tidy, with a reasonable double bed and a TV. The toilet and shower rooms are shared. The sink in my room didn’t have a plug.

Parking was free. The rooms were small but okay, and there was no private bathroom or shower. The shared facilities weren’t very fresh, and breakfast for 3,5 € was very basic.

The staff were friendly and really helpful. I was given a smoking room, though, and the toilets were dirty. In an emergency, it was okay for one night, as long as you’re prepared for very low expectations.
