Apartment Facing Mont Blanc

Montroc is a lovely, peaceful village high in the Chamonix valley, and the railway station is just a three-minute walk away. It’s a splendid link to Chamonix and beyond. We spent seven days there in July for a road cycling holiday, and the mountain views outside the apartment, with Mont Blanc and the surrounding peaks, were incredible. The clean, spacious apartment is on the ground floor of a large house in the village center. It was tidy when we arrived and matched its description. There are three bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, though two bathrooms have lovely walk-in showers and basins but no toilet. That’s just an observation, not a complaint, since there’s a separate toilet in the apartment. Delphine was lovely and helpful, spoke perfect English, and shared lots of useful information about the area, including nice early morning walks and longer hikes. We’d definitely visit again. I can’t wait to go back.
