We had a great breakfast, with a good selection and eggs cooked to order, which was a nice touch for us Brits. Chris was a lovely, informative host too. The lodge feels warm and cosy, and I really liked having a pleasant shared space downstairs. We had a jet bath in the room, plus an outdoor hot tub. Our bed was two twins pushed neatly together, making a really good-sized bed.

Breakfast was really nice, and the lodge itself is cosy, with Mont Blanc views from most rooms. It’s right in the center of Chamonix, just two minutes from the main shopping street. You can pay to park directly in front, or use free parking about five minutes away.

We spent a wonderful extended family Christmas holiday at Mont Blanc Lodge. Chris and Karl lead an excellent team, and we enjoyed the food, thoughtful personal touches, and great ski trips. The chalet is “gezellig” (Dutch for cozy-fun), and you can walk into the center of Chamonix.
