Gite Le PARC

That breakfast delivered to our door on departure day really touched us. Thanks again for all the thoughtful gestures, the lovely conversations, and such warm hospitality from hosts who are incredibly kind. We spent 15 wonderful days here in August. The cottage was well equipped and suited our group of friends perfectly. The grounds were magnificent, beautifully maintained, and full of flowers, with outdoor amenities we could enjoy in a wonderfully peaceful setting. We'd be very happy to return and highly recommend it. See you soon, Camille and Rémi.

The garden and pool were especially welcome during the June 2019 heatwave, and we really valued having Wi-Fi to work on our search for a property nearby. We also appreciated the French and English TV channels, including Sky, and the spacious bedroom. The gîte was quiet, and we have absolutely no complaints. We stayed at Gîte Le Parc de Champniers for over two months. It would work just as well for a few days as it did for our longer stay. Christine and Robert were thoughtful hosts and always ready to help.

Christine and Robert made our short stay feel like a real treat. Breakfast in the spacious dining room overlooking the park was generous and carefully prepared, and Christine's homemade jams were divine. The rooms upstairs are all different, spacious, and elegantly decorated. The beds were excellent, even for larger guests, and some rooms have a private bathroom with shower and toilet. There are also several places to sit and relax, from the small TV lounge to the living room, with souvenirs from around the world throughout the house. The grounds are a beautiful wooded park of over a hectare, with a heated pool, pool house, greenhouse, sports field, and little stream. We enjoyed walking and meditating under the century-old trees. Le Parc is in Champniers, near Angoulême, in a lovely Charentaise house. It's a peaceful place run by a charming, welcoming couple. You can also arrange to stay in the independent cottage, which sleeps six. I wholeheartedly recommend it for a quiet break as a couple or with family. Luxury, peace, and pleasure, and a place we'll remember and share.

We stayed at Gîte du Parc during the comic book festival, and I was really pleased with the welcome. The setting is beautiful and breakfast was excellent. I'd recommend going without hesitation.
