Kyriad Angoulême Nord Champniers - Hôtel & Résidence

The room was very quiet and the bed was comfortable, but the wheelchair entrance needs urgent attention because the curb is far too high. The bedside lamp was too dim to read by, and two other lights weren't working properly. The mix of a new renovation and worn-out parts was strange. I raised all of this with the manager, who addressed it right away and was polite and friendly.

Good value, with a good breakfast and excellent service. It's a renovated building, so there are a few small issues here and there, but they've made a good effort to make it functional.

I enjoyed my short stay here, and I'd happily come back. The garden view was lovely, and I could step out to it through the patio doors from my room. It's clearly a well looked after place. The staff were pleasant, patient, and understanding. I don't speak French, unfortunately, but their English was very good. I didn't try the breakfast, so I can't comment on it.

The garden is a real gem. My room was a decent size for this kind of hotel, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
