L'Orée du Bois

Those homemade jams were delicious, and breakfast was generous, with pastries too. We had a lovely stay in beautiful surroundings, from our room with its own bathroom and toilet to the garden's places to relax. The pool and outdoor kitchenette were very welcome. The owners were charming and attentive. I highly recommend it if you're looking for somewhere to stay near Chambord.

We stayed for three days. Our room beside the main house was spacious and bright, and the garden, pond and park made a beautiful setting. The mattress was softer than we liked, though the warm, friendly welcome more than made up for that. Breakfast brought homemade jams, seasonal fruit, and tasty cakes like Savoyard cake and sponge cake. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast. The rooms were spotless, and we were welcomed so warmly during our three days there. It was a beautiful, peaceful place. We enjoyed the pool, ping-pong table, and animals, and came away with very fond memories.

We often use places like this as a stop on the way to the south of France, and this one is easy to recommend. The owners were very friendly and there was a swimming pool. There's no restaurant in the village, so we drove to a village farther away.
