Five stars, good experience, somehow. It was what you'd expect from the cheapest hostel around: kind of dirty, with no service, and the lady seemed annoyed when we asked for help because we couldn't get in. The shower was a supersoaker, blasting at high pressure in short bursts. It's very clear you're not supposed to smoke inside, though people probably will anyway. I'm still not sure if the neighborhood is sketchy, but there was a pirate-themed bar on the industrial terrain, so I guess that made everything okay?

I picked this place because it was cheap in the city. I can't say this is the best city to stay in and explore, and there were all sorts of people around, many from different countries. For my one night in the hostel, I had the room to myself and met some British bikers.

It reeked of cigarettes everywhere, and there were bloodstains on the duvets. I spent five minutes in the room, which was supposedly the best one, while I had the flu and a headache. They refused to refund me. I think this is the worst hotel I've ever seen. It was absolutely insane 😂. Definitely avoid it 🏃🏽‍♂️. There was even toilet paper.

We knew the room would be small and uncomfortable for the low price, with no soap or towels and a worn bedspread, and that's exactly what we got. Still, the rest of the place was shocking. We waited 40 minutes for an access card even though we had a reservation; the machine wouldn't let anyone in without a receptionist, and nine of us were waiting outside. The grounds were disgusting, with litter that attracted rodents we had plenty of time to watch. Common areas were run down, with stains, smells, empty hand sanitizer dispensers, and only one of three toilets working on the landing. Breakfast choices were lacking. The staff did their best to make the stay less unpleasant. The place badly needs renovation.
