The room was filthy, and the bathroom was in a terrible state, with black mold on the walls and bath panels hanging loose. The bathroom door was completely gone, broken and removed. I was given a room that should have been condemned. I also ordered champagne for my partner's birthday and my bank was charged EUR 100 straight away. I took the bottle back to reception and asked for a refund. Nobody was available to arrange it, which was strange, and they gave me a cheque that UK banks can't cash. I've written to the hotel asking for help since then and have been ignored. I won't return, and I'd urge others to avoid it too. I have photos of the room and planned to post them tomorrow. I wanted to give Management time to prevent an embarrassment first.

We slept well, then had a nice breakfast before getting back on the road. I was glad to find parking in the inner yard, and the Staff guided me through the narrow gate. The staff were very service-minded, and my little dog was warmly welcomed too. It was a lovely place to stay overnight during my long trip through France. I'd be more than happy to stay again.

Pets can stay at no extra charge, which was nice. The hotel is right in the town center, and my room was small but clean. Breakfast wasn't especially impressive for the price, and the parking was 5 €, with little space and an inconvenient layout.

The location was good, and there was a locked parking area for motorbikes. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was all right, though pretty minimal, and my room was decent enough.

There's a certain genius loci to the place. If you like old buildings and don't mind carpets that aren't very clean, you might enjoy it.
