Premiere Classe Charleville-Mezieres

The rooms smell and feel cramped, and the place needs a makeover. The pictures must be from when it was first built, so don't be fooled.

The people are nice and doing their best, even though the place needs some updating. I know it's difficult.

There was a lot of loud talking and noise in the parking lot outside until late at night, and the area felt a bit sketchy. The bed was okay to sleep in, though it sagged somewhat. Staff brought me an extra pillow when I asked.

For a cheap overnight stop on a motorbike trip, it's hard to complain at this price. The rooms are extremely compact and the fixtures and fittings feel tired, but there's free Wi-Fi and the breakfast is excellent value. It's cheerful, no-frills accommodation if you keep your expectations realistic. I wouldn't bring a loved one here for a romantic break.
