That 14 euro four-course menu du jour, with a quarter pichet of wine per person, was a lovely surprise. The pork fillet with dauphinoise was followed by a nice Auvergne cheeseboard and panna cotta, and the meal started with chicken and ham vol au vent and salad. It brought back what used to be common in French restaurants, a quarter pichet included with a daytime menu. Owners have often cut the wine and reduced four-course menus to three to save money, which seems shortsighted given wine prices in France. We got a warm welcome and attentive service, too. It's a hotel, but non-residents can eat here. Stonking value for money.

The breakfast was nice, and the rooms are basic but good quality for the price. The host was very nice and managed to make themselves understood even though I don't speak French.

The hotel was very quiet, and the evening meal was satisfactory. Breakfast was very complete. We got a warm welcome, and the staff were pleasant even though we arrived late at the restaurant. I'd recommend it.

We were there for three days for a family event, and the manager gave us a wonderful welcome. The rooms were comfortable and well designed, and the bedding was excellent. Staff were friendly and very attentive, and breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Nothing but praise for this hotel 🙏
