If you’re looking to stay near Stade de France, this is a decent option. It’s okay for the price, so don’t expect too much.

The staff were so helpful and friendly, and Elena and Hessen made me feel looked after. The hotel itself is cosy and seems thoughtfully set up with what you might need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was simple, fresh, and tasty. There aren’t many nice breakfast options around here, so keep that in mind. Getting into the city centre was convenient too.

I’d only stay here for a night or two if all I needed was somewhere to sleep. Rooms are tiny, everything feels very old, and the corridor smells awful. I also found the area one of the most dangerous in Paris. The Russian woman at reception was a bright spot, five stars from me. She spoke English well and helped me after I arrived at 11 pm and waited about an hour to check in, because the other receptionist couldn’t sort it out. The other receptionists I dealt with were extremely rude. Basic hygiene costs extra too: new towels were €10, and they only change them if you stay more than seven days.

Elena at reception was lovely and helped whenever I needed anything. The hotel is also fairly accessible, with the metro and bus stops a few stops from the city centre. The room wasn’t the cleanest or biggest, but I’d recommend the place because of Elena’s hospitality.
