Breakfast was just right, with fresh bread, yoghurt, jams, juice, and coffee. Melanie made us feel very welcome and was friendly and knowledgeable. We stayed one night while travelling down through france, though the place would suit a short or longer visit. Our gite was clean, homely, and well looked after. The pool was a welcome way to unwind after a day on the road, and the grounds are tidy with something for all ages. We were really impressed and would definitely come back on our travels. Highly recommend x

A lovely quiet spot with fantastic facilities. The host was great, and I even got a French lesson 😀

The place was clean and well maintained, and I really enjoyed being out in the countryside so close to Chateaubriant. One of my loveliest experiences. Good work, guys!

The rooms and cottages have lovely furnishings and decor, and everything was clean. It's peaceful, with plenty of room to enjoy the countryside and park your vehicle safely, right near Châteaubriant. Breakfast was very good and generous, served with a smile and real care. Thibaud gave us a warm welcome, and his knack for hospitality and his extensive hotel industry experience were clear right away. In short, I highly recommend a stay at Gîte du Petit Marcel. It's a must!

Thibaud was welcoming, quick to respond, and understanding. We were lucky to stay in a brand new gîte, decorated beautifully and kept very clean. The beds were so cozy and smelled amazing! This gîte is exceptional all around. We'll definitely come back, and I highly recommend it.
