The house is a 1930s place, renovated with real taste, and everything was spotlessly clean. We had a beautiful room and got a lovely, warm welcome, with the smell of Breton far baking. The owner was so accommodating when we needed to leave early the next day. Breakfast was set out on a charming table with everything we could need, including homemade yogurt, fresh bread, and fresh croissants. We highly recommend this place.

This was an overnight break for us on the Nantes-Brest Canal route, and what a great time we had at this B&B. The welcome and service were lovely. We could leave our bags there in the morning, which meant carrying less weight on our bikes, a real comfort on the ride. After a day's effort, it was nice to be greeted with a cold drink and snacks. Our bikes went in a locked room, then our host gave us a quick guide to what to see in Châteauneuf and where to eat that evening. Brilliant. I have no complaints about the night itself, though anyone who needs complete darkness might want to bring an eye mask. There's no TV in the room, which gives you a chance to step away from screens, and they provide a Wi-Fi code. The beer pump wasn't working 🥺, and we had to find something to fault 🤣🤣🤣, along with the hill back up from the canal. Don't take that part seriously. If we stop in the area again, I'll definitely come back, hopefully for a Guinness from the beer pump 🤣🤣. Thanks!

There were 10 adults and children in our group, and we stayed one night while cycling along the Nantes-Brest Canal. The hosts were very welcoming, and the rooms were comfortable. Dorothy is keen to improve her French. Breakfast was generous, too. I highly recommend it!
